Deep Cleaning Lambeth Service Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Deep Cleaning Lambeth provides deep cleaning and related services to residential and commercial customers within Lambeth and surrounding areas. By making a booking, using our services, or allowing our operatives access to your premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following expressions have the meanings given below:

1.1 Customer refers to any individual, company, or organisation that requests or purchases services from Deep Cleaning Lambeth.

1.2 Services refers to deep cleaning and any related services provided by Deep Cleaning Lambeth as agreed with the Customer.

1.3 Premises refers to the property, whether residential or commercial, at which the Services are to be carried out.

1.4 Operative refers to any employee, contractor, or representative of Deep Cleaning Lambeth assigned to carry out the Services.

1.5 Agreement refers to the contract between the Customer and Deep Cleaning Lambeth incorporating these Terms and Conditions and any written confirmation of booking.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Deep Cleaning Lambeth provides professional deep cleaning and related services, including one-off deep cleans, end of tenancy deep cleans, pre- and post-occupation cleans, and other specialist deep cleaning tasks as agreed in advance.

2.2 The exact scope of work for each booking will be agreed with the Customer before confirmation of the booking, based on the information provided by the Customer regarding the Premises, its condition, and the Customer’s requirements.

2.3 Any additional tasks or changes requested on the day of service may be subject to supplementary charges and will be carried out only where time, safety, and resources reasonably allow.

3. Booking Process

3.1 Bookings may be requested by the Customer through the methods made available by Deep Cleaning Lambeth from time to time. Deep Cleaning Lambeth reserves the right to accept or decline any booking request at its absolute discretion.

3.2 A booking is not confirmed until the Customer has received explicit confirmation from Deep Cleaning Lambeth and any required deposit has been paid. Provisional or tentative bookings that have not been confirmed may be cancelled or amended by Deep Cleaning Lambeth without liability.

3.3 The Customer must provide accurate and complete information about the Premises, including size, layout, parking arrangements, access instructions, and general condition. Misrepresentation may result in additional charges or cancellation of the booking.

3.4 Deep Cleaning Lambeth reserves the right to adjust the quoted price if, upon arrival, the Premises differ significantly from the description provided by the Customer or if additional areas or tasks are requested.

4. Access to the Premises

4.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the Premises at the agreed date and time, including providing keys, entry codes, or the presence of an authorised person to grant access.

4.2 If parking permits, visitor passes, or paid parking are required for the Operatives’ vehicle, the Customer must arrange these in advance or reimburse Deep Cleaning Lambeth for all related parking costs and charges.

4.3 If the Operatives are unable to gain access to the Premises at the agreed time, waiting time charges may apply, or the visit may be treated as a late cancellation, in which case the applicable cancellation charges will be due.

5. Customer Obligations

5.1 The Customer must ensure that the Premises are safe for work to be carried out and comply with all applicable health and safety regulations.

5.2 The Customer must inform Deep Cleaning Lambeth in advance of any known hazards, special risks, or particular requirements at the Premises, including fragile items, alarms, restricted areas, or equipment that should not be used.

5.3 The Customer must ensure that essential utilities are available at the Premises, including electricity, water, adequate lighting, and reasonable heating where required. Failure to provide these may result in cancellation or reduced service, with charges still applicable.

5.4 Valuable, delicate, or irreplaceable items should be safely stored away by the Customer before the start of the Services. Deep Cleaning Lambeth will not be responsible for items left in vulnerable positions that are not reasonably identifiable as fragile or of particular value.

6. Pricing and Payments

6.1 Prices for the Services are provided to the Customer in advance, based on the information supplied. All prices are subject to confirmation and may be adjusted if the scope of work changes.

6.2 Deep Cleaning Lambeth may require a deposit at the time of booking. The amount of any deposit and the deadline for payment will be communicated to the Customer before confirmation.

6.3 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the balance of the fee is payable on or before the day the Services are provided. Deep Cleaning Lambeth may withhold or suspend Services until full payment or an agreed portion has been received.

6.4 Accepted payment methods will be specified by Deep Cleaning Lambeth and may be updated from time to time. The Customer is responsible for any bank or payment provider charges associated with the payment.

6.5 If the Customer fails to make payment by the due date, Deep Cleaning Lambeth reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the statutory rate permitted by law until payment is received in full.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

7.1 The Customer may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking by giving notice to Deep Cleaning Lambeth. Notice will be deemed to take effect when it is actually received and acknowledged by Deep Cleaning Lambeth.

7.2 If the Customer cancels or reschedules with sufficient notice, as specified in the booking confirmation, any deposit may be refunded or transferred at Deep Cleaning Lambeth’s discretion, subject to any reasonable administrative costs.

7.3 Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with insufficient notice may incur a cancellation fee. In some cases, this may be up to 100 percent of the estimated service charge, particularly where Operatives have already been assigned or have travelled to the Premises.

7.4 If Deep Cleaning Lambeth needs to cancel or reschedule a booking due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to staff illness, severe weather, or operational issues, it will offer an alternative appointment. Deep Cleaning Lambeth will not be liable for any indirect losses arising from such cancellation or rescheduling.

8. Service Standards and Complaints

8.1 Deep Cleaning Lambeth aims to provide Services with reasonable care and skill, in line with industry standards for professional deep cleaning.

8.2 The Customer must inspect the Premises as soon as reasonably possible after completion of the Services. Any concerns or complaints about the quality or completeness of the work should be reported promptly.

8.3 Where a justified complaint is made, Deep Cleaning Lambeth may, at its discretion, arrange a return visit to rectify specific issues or offer a partial refund. This will be the Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Services, to the extent permitted by law.

8.4 Complaints raised after a significant delay or after further use or occupation of the Premises may be more difficult to verify and may not be accepted.

9. Liability and Limitations

9.1 Deep Cleaning Lambeth will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the Customer, or from the Customer’s failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

9.2 Deep Cleaning Lambeth will not be responsible for wear, discolouration, or damage that results from pre-existing conditions, defective materials, or normal ageing of surfaces, furnishings, or fixtures, including but not limited to ingrained stains, burns, or permanent marks.

9.3 Deep Cleaning Lambeth shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of rent, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms and Conditions.

9.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

9.5 Subject to the above, the total liability of Deep Cleaning Lambeth to the Customer arising out of or in connection with the Services shall, in all circumstances, be limited to the total amount actually paid by the Customer for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

10. Damage and Breakages

10.1 The Customer must notify Deep Cleaning Lambeth of any alleged damage or breakage caused by Operatives as soon as practicable and provide reasonable evidence where possible.

10.2 Where damage is directly and solely caused by an Operative in the course of providing the Services, Deep Cleaning Lambeth may, at its option, repair the damage, arrange for replacement, or provide fair compensation, subject always to the limitations of liability set out in these Terms and Conditions.

10.3 Deep Cleaning Lambeth will not be liable for minor cosmetic damage or damage to items that are inherently fragile, poorly secured, already damaged, or not fit for normal cleaning processes.

11. Waste Handling and Environmental Regulations

11.1 Deep Cleaning Lambeth will handle, bag, and consolidate general household or commercial waste generated during the cleaning process as agreed with the Customer. Responsibility for ongoing waste disposal remains with the Customer unless specific arrangements have been made.

11.2 Where Deep Cleaning Lambeth agrees to remove waste from the Premises, this will be limited to general, non-hazardous waste and will be conducted in compliance with applicable waste management and environmental regulations.

11.3 Deep Cleaning Lambeth does not handle or remove hazardous waste, including but not limited to clinical waste, asbestos, chemical substances, or sharps. If such materials are identified at the Premises, the Operatives may cease work in the affected area and inform the Customer. It will be the Customer’s responsibility to arrange safe and lawful removal by a suitably licensed contractor.

11.4 The Customer must not request or require Deep Cleaning Lambeth to dispose of waste in any manner that would breach local authority rules or environmental legislation. Deep Cleaning Lambeth reserves the right to refuse any request that may contravene such regulations.

12. Health, Safety, and Conduct

12.1 Operatives will perform the Services in accordance with applicable health and safety standards. The Customer agrees to cooperate in maintaining a safe working environment.

12.2 Deep Cleaning Lambeth reserves the right to withdraw Operatives from the Premises where their safety or wellbeing is at risk, including but not limited to abusive behaviour, unsafe conditions, or the presence of uncontrolled animals. In such circumstances, the visit may be treated as a cancellation by the Customer and charges may apply.

12.3 The Customer must not instruct Operatives to carry out any unlawful activity or any task outside the agreed scope of work that may compromise their safety or training.

13. Keys and Security

13.1 Where the Customer provides keys or access devices, Deep Cleaning Lambeth will exercise reasonable care in their handling and storage.

13.2 In the unlikely event of loss of keys or access devices solely attributable to Deep Cleaning Lambeth, liability will be limited to the reasonable cost of key cutting or replacement of equivalent access devices, but not to the cost of changing locks except where reasonably necessary and agreed in advance.

14. Personal Data and Confidentiality

14.1 Deep Cleaning Lambeth will collect and process personal data relating to the Customer and the Premises only to the extent reasonably necessary to arrange and deliver the Services, administer accounts, and comply with legal obligations.

14.2 Deep Cleaning Lambeth will take reasonable steps to keep such information secure and will not disclose it to third parties except where necessary for the performance of the Services, for administrative purposes, or where required by law.

15. Amendments to These Terms

15.1 Deep Cleaning Lambeth may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply to that specific Agreement.

15.2 Updated Terms and Conditions may be made available to Customers, and continued use of the Services after any update may be treated as acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

16.1 These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

16.2 The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the Services.

17. General Provisions

17.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or deleted where modification is not possible, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.

17.2 No failure or delay by Deep Cleaning Lambeth in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy.

17.3 The Agreement is between the Customer and Deep Cleaning Lambeth. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

17.4 The Customer may not assign or transfer any of their rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without the prior written consent of Deep Cleaning Lambeth. Deep Cleaning Lambeth may assign or subcontract its rights and obligations where reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
